On Monday I asked:
What hard rockers were described in 2007 by MTV Buzzworthy as offering their film crew, “[A]n overwhelming amount of goodwill and generosity so real that you couldn’t fake it even if you wanted to?”
The answer is …

FLYLEAF.
MTV sent a crew to Texas to film the band for their Artist of the Week segment, where the crew was impressed by the band’s sincere generosity and hospitality. Buzzworthy notes, “But perhaps all that honesty, humility, and meaning is unsurprising for a band so sincerely filled with passion and committed to appreciating what they’ve been given and helping others less fortunate.”

Flyleaf has never shied away from their Christian faith, and it’s good to see them living what they preach.
Flyleaf’s self-titled album is currently at #77 on the Billboard Top 200. It’s been on the chart for 117 weeks, peaking at #57.
The band is on tour now. Also catch them at Creation Northeast Festival June 25 and Cornerstone Festival July 2.
