It’s hard to get to know a person. Even when we think we do know a person, something comes up to surprise us. The good surprises are nice. The bad surprises aren’t.

Well, it’s just a hard to get to know God. Even when we think we do know God, we need to be on our toes because God is infinite, ever revealing.

God won’t change because of what’s happening on earth. So, knowing the world isn’t particularly beneficial to knowing God.

God isn’t changing. God is constantly manifesting life, truth, and love.

It takes a lot of effort to witness to this constant unfoldment. Sometimes, I want to take a nap, or be angry and forget to relish the life, truth, and love.

Thankfully, God knows us and this knowing helps us know God.

From 21st Century Science and Health:

“People are more than a material shell with a mind stuck inside. Spirituality is more than a soul trying to escape a human experience in order to be immortal. We reflect infinity, and this reflection is the true idea of God.

“Spiritual selfhood is infinitely being expressed, broadening and ascending from a boundless basis. Mind manifests all that exists in the infinitude of Truth. The only way we will know our true self, is to know God properly.

“The infinite Principle is reflected by the infinite idea and spiritual individuality, but the human ego and physical senses have no cognizance of either Principle or its idea. As spiritual mindfulness gains the true perception of God and creation, the human abilities are refined and sharpened.”
