Hello and welcome back.  I’m so glad you’re here.  Today, let’s keep the momentum going, the pounds flowing (off!), the healthy diet alive, and the recreation joyous and energizing.  All by the grace of God.

I’m headed out the door to the gym shortly.  I’m going to walk 15 minutes or so on a treadmill, while listening to my favorite music.  Then, I plan to jump on the elliptical stepper machine, and give my arms and legs a go for it.  Then I will do some light stretches, and if I have time, I’ll go to the weight room and do a few minutes of weights – mostly for my upper arms.

I would love it if you would do a fun work-out today, too.  Go to a gym, do a few machines like me, or take a class that would be fun and energizing.  You will feel good after doing it – it’s that simple.  You will likely eat less because you won’t feel so tired.  Your blood will be flowing, with oxygen vitalizing your whole body and brain.

Today, I started my day with a bran muffin that had some peaches and raisins in it.  It didn’t have added sugar; the fruit was the sweetener.  It was also low-fat.  It tasted great, and 2 hours later I’m still feeling full from it.  I know that it is scrubbing out my insides, too, with the bran.  Healthy eating can both taste good, and be good for people at the same time.

I’ll have some salad, and leftover broccoli for lunch.  Perhaps some tuna, or sardines, too, for protein.  For snacks today, I have some dried apricots and dried peaches (non-sugared) ready.  I will also drink a lot of water today.

I’ve started my day with prayer, and some quiet meditation.  I will keep doing this all day long.  Before I begin anything, I’ll say a silent prayer of thanks, and when I finish something, too.  I’ll say, “God, thank you.  Lord have mercy.”  This calms, me, and gives me the strength to get things done, because I feel God’s love and power.

Why am I telling you this?  Because I want YOU to tell me what you plan on doing to keep the momentum of the “Give-Back Diet” going.   How will you keep your weight loss and healthy eating and moving routines going?

ALSO – I’d love to know how the scales and you are getting along.  Or the waist, thigh and arm measurements.  Please share with us if you have stabilized your weight, or lost some, and/or how you are making an effort to get healthier.  PLEASE POST!

Thank you, too, for bringing your friends, family and co-workers to this daily blog.  Let’s all do this together.
