Are you a “Food Lover?” Me too.  But I’m not a big fan of the “Food Lovers Fat Loss System” which I wrote about not too long ago.

I’m concerned because the website for it is only about sales and supplements, making a lot of claims that make me wonder.  After a lot of digging, I do see a sentence or two among the sales banter that describes the “Food Lovers Fat Loss System” as a program about eating anything in moderation and exercise, which is perhaps OK.  But do we really need to pay a lot of money to know that?

Gayle wrote a comment recently about what I wrote about the “Food Lovers Fat Loss System,” comparing my “Joy of Weight Loss” spiritual and nutritional approach.  Of course, I think what Gayle describes is the way to go, without spending hundreds of dollars ordering yet another weight loss package.

“One of the most important parts of your program for me is that I can eat what I want as long as I watch portions and don’t gorge on something. My mother and I each live alone so we eat out together quite a bit. I don’t go crazy with desserts (if we get one we split it), but we don’t avoid all fast food. This is an activity that we both enjoy together and watching my extremely healthy and fit mother (she’s 79 years old and does Jazzercise with five pound weights twice a week) choose foods and eat only what she wants (leaving something on her plate or getting a box every time) has taught me a lot about how to eat in a “normal” manner.”

In other words, easy does it.   Build a routine of structured, “normal” eating, with God’s help.
