Just a quick post, with a question and a comment.  How are you feeling a few days after the holiday?  Please make me and all our readers very happy, and post a comment below, and let us all know we’re not alone.

While I did not overeat at our Thanksgiving meal, or during the holiday overall per se, I did experience something new.  We got invited to another Thanksgiving meal!  So we actually had two Thanksgivings!

As we had ours at lunch, the second was an offer for the evening that we could not refuse.

So we went, but I was honest and told our hosts I was not very hungry.  And I just had a little taste of things — not a big plate.  I enjoyed a lot of friendly conversation, instead of food.

I was very happy to have not had desert at lunch, so I felt good about having some at dinner.

I did my best to be very meditative, peaceful and calm through the 4-day holiday, taking a lot of time to pray and be still, and appreciate all we have, and the many blessings that God gives.

Still worried about the world economy, though!  And cutting back spending everywhere possible.

How do you feel?  What happened with you and your family?  We’d love to know, below.
