Longtime readers may remember that last year I posted the inspiring story of a popular Christian singer named Danielle Rose, who was leaving a thriving music career to become a nun.

Well, nearly a year later, we have an update, courtesy The Anchoress.

There’s word that she has just been accepted into the notiviate:

Today is a day of rejoicing for the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Two new Sisters have joined their ranks as Danielle Skorich, now Sister Rose Therese, DLJC, and Caroline Schutz, now Sister Felicity, have been received into the Novitiate.

Sister Rose Therese is originally from Duluth, Minnesota and Sister Felicity from Dallas, Texas. They entered the Aspirancy on August 2, 2007 and the Postulancy in December of that same year.

We are grateful to the Lord for sending us new vocations, and for the new springtime that He is bringing about in His Church. Please keep our new Sisters in your prayers as they begin their Novitiate in preparation for their consecration as religious.

Bless ’em. Let’s keep all these fresh new vocations in our prayers.
