Coming into the Church this Easter? New? Just browsing around? Pull up a chair and stay awhile. And if you have a few free moments, wander over to this terrific blog, Catholic Converts. I stumbled on it when it got a mention in Amy Welborn’s blog — and it looks to be a wonderful and welcoming resource.

In my parish, we have about a dozen folks coming into the fold this Saturday. There is nothing quite like watching them receive their sacraments; it is an evening of miracles and beauty! Water poured, candles lit, oils applied, and the Body of Christ consumed, all ending to the strains of the “Hallelujah Chorus” at evening’s end.

Behold, He makes all things new.

Remember all these up-and-coming Catholics in your prayers, especially those prayers of thanksgiving.
