If your computer can play this remarkable video of a dance by the Chinese Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe, I do recommend it. Apparently, every dancer here is both deaf and mute, no doubt making it much more difficult to coordinate the precise movements.

The dance is a tribute to the female Buddha or goddess of compassion Guanyin (usually pronounced in the West Kuan-yin). This little window into beauty and peace helped me to center myself today, and I know you’ll enjoy it too.
