Previous to 1905 congestive cardiovascular disiese was practically unknown in the USA. Today, it is the #1 killer. What happened? In 1905 steal rollers replaced mill wheels as the preferred method of grinding grain. It was found that wheat germ clogged up these steel rollers. The wheat germ was taken out and fed to pigs.

I’d seen the quote by Churchill, but the other ones are new to me. For some reason, quotes really can be a source of inspiration.
