Keep your sense of humour when all around you seems to be changing. This is a secret to leading a happy life. Our state of mind affects our world, so, when life seems to be getting you down, do something that makes you laugh. Laughter is truly the best medicine to help anything that ails you.

Don’t take life too seriously. Life is meant to be enjoyed and savoured, not be filled with drudgery, loneliness or despair or any other less than desirable state of affairs. Keeping your sense of humour helps you through those times as well as makes life simply better. Laughter is the medicine that heals all wounds. Seeing the ironic or even the absurdity of it all can help you to release it. No matter what is happening in your life, try to see the humour in it.

Maintaining a healthy sense of humour about most experiences causes you to feel lighter in spirit. To smile at life helps you to appreciate it so much more, keeps you alive with a freshness for life and helps to release ‘feel good’ endorphins to assist in your feelings of well being. Do some laughing yoga, watch a funny movie, or read a funny book, go to a comedy club or do something that makes you laugh because you deserve to feel good and enjoy this moment of your life to its fullest.

Affirm as often as you need reminders

“Each day I am enjoying my life more and having more fun. I see the gift in each experience. I can see the funny side of life and laughter helps to heal all that ails me.”

Try this…it does make you feel better… Have some fun and love yourself
