2nd Lieutenant Jim Webb

Jim Webb, 2nd Lieutenant USMC, served 1968-1972. Senator Webb poignantly recalls the morning when he and his Marines were marching into the dawn after a night patrol. It was at that cathartic moment when he realized that he had become a part of history and hoped he could meet the standards of the Marines who came before him.
