Kalakaua Avenue on VJ Day

The video features a 16 mm color film was taken on August 16, 1945, along Kalakaua Avenue on VJ Day – – no high rises, 1930s cars and plenty of uniforms. Even those of us who are not old enough to remember that day, you might find it interesting anyway.
