Hugh and Gayle Prather

columnist photo The Revs. Hugh and Gayle Prather have been married for 34 years. For the past 20, they have conducted classes on relationships and parenting. Their most recent books on these subjects are "I Will Never Leave You" and "Spiritual Parenting."

A minister, lecturer, and counselor, Hugh Prather is best known for his 14 books--all of which were co-written with Gayle. His first book, "Notes to Myself," has sold over 5 million copies and has been translated into 10 languages. The sequel, "Spiritual Notes to Myself," is now available, and the Prathers' next book, "The Little Book of Letting Go," will be available in late spring.

Hugh's weekly radio program, "Living in the Light," a two-hour call-in show, is syndicated by WISDOM Radio. It features topics such as spiritual healing, spirituality in marriage, parenting, and everyday family life. Hugh, Gayle, and their two sons live in Tucson, Arizona, where they are resident ministers at St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church.
