Julia Butterfly Hill: Carefully Choosing Our Words and Actions

We can define ourselves by what we are instead of what we're not.

At the age of 23, Julia Butterfly Hill spent two years living in an ancient redwood tree she called Luna, in order to protect the 1000-year-old tree from destruction. She is a writer, poet, and founder of the Circle of Life Foundation. She lectures across the U.S. and has appeared on CNN, the Today show, Dateline, and Oprah. Julia is the author of "The Legacy of Luna" and (with Jessica Hurley) "One Makes the Difference."
