Thomas Moore: Choosing Your Meaningful Work

How to tell the difference between "just a job' and a true calling.

BY: Thomas Moore

How do you find work that is your true calling? Thomas Moore, an author, psychotherapist, and former monk, explains how to tell what the soul wants us to do, rather than what our rational mind directs.

Thomas Moore has written many books and articles in the areas of archetypal and Jungian psychology, religion, mythology, relationships, and the arts. His best-sellers “Care of the Soul,” “Soul Mates,” and “The Re-enchantment of Everyday Life.” He has practiced psychotherapy for over 20 years and is a Relationships columnist for Beliefnet.com. Moore lived as a monk in a Catholic order for 12 years. He holds a Ph.D. in religious studies from Syracuse University.
