Father Albert Cutié
Roman Catholic priest, relationships talk-show host, columnist, author

Fr. Alberto Cutié was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1969, to parents who had fled from the communist dictatorship in Cuba. When he was seven, the family moved to Miami, and he has lived in southern Florida ever since. He entered the seminary after high school, and was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Miami in 1995. He is currently pastor of St. Francis de Sales church in South Beach.

In 1998, Father Cutié began hosting a Spanish-language talk show, which led to a career on Spanish-language radio and television in addition to his pastoral duties. In 2001 the Archdiocese of Miami appointed him director of its radio apostolate, Radio Paz and Radio Peace. Since 2003, Fr. Cutié has hosted a talk show, "Hablando Claro con el Padre Alberto," for the EWTN television network, focusing on relationships, families, and youth issues, and reaching millions of households in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. He also writes a daily newspaper column, "Consejos de Amigo," for several Spanish-language newspapers. In 2006, his book, "Real Life, Real Love: Seven Paths to a Strong and Lasting Relationship," was published in English and Spanish by Berkley Books, a division of the Penguin Group.
