Fish Farms Help Haiti’s Impoverished Families

Operation Blessing is working with a fish hatchery to provide a life-changing solution to extremely poor families in Haiti. After breeding young tilapia fish at the hatchery, we transfer them to cages that float in Lake Azuei – the largest body of water in Haiti. Fishermen living close to the lake care for the fish until they can be sold. The income allows them to restock the cages and make a healthy profit.
