A Morning Prayer

Thank You Lord for this day,
For You are the Sunshine that lights, my way.
And before me You step, when danger alerts,
let me know that I am safe!

Thank You for enfolding me in Your comforting
embrace, when for some reason, tears cover
my face.

But, most of all, Thank You for staying, close by
my side. Even though my heart isn't always true.

I Thank You for loving me, in spite of my sins.
Lord, I Thank You, for being my Best Friend!
