This is where my heart resides.
Most of life takes me away
from the people and the place that I love.
We work overtime our whole lives
with the hope that one day
we'll have time to savor.
At work, there are challenges aplenty.
Long, boring meetings, deadlines and delays.
With the filter of faith, I can honestly say,
I'm grateful for the paycheck my job provides.
I'm glad I can do my part to be productive
and provide for my family.
Please make me mindful that the best things in life
are always waiting for me, safe at home.
