Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.

It doesn't have to be elder abuse for an injustice to occur when dealing with someone older. Too often the elderly are misunderstood, patronized, and made to feel insignificant. Peter 5:5 instructs us to respect our elders and be humble. here's how to do it: Listen with genuine interest, be patient, and show compassion.
