Daily Scripture: Peter 2:16

Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.
Peter 2:16

Consider the similarities between serving your family a holiday dinner and serving God. In all that you do to live the values of the Lord, you are "living as servants of God." When God blesses you with family, you provide the neccessities of life, including food. Serving your family is based on the same principles as serving the Lord: Love, grace, and trust. Peter 2:16 reminds us we are servants, yet springtime and its holidays represent freedom. Be certain to use your faith to live freely and make good choices that reflect your obedience to Whom you serve.

Today's Spiritual Quote
The Bible is an excellent resource book from which to learn about angels. The Old Testament alone refers to angels 108 times. The New Testament, which is much shorter than the Old Testament, nevertheless speaks of angels even more often--165 times. You can't believe in the God revealed in the Bible without believing also in angels. end quote
