- Look long and hard at your co-worker. See them as the person they are at home, with family and friends. What makes them tick? What’s motivating their disruptive behavior?
- Talk to them about issues not related to work. Share a private moment of your own. Surprise them by reaching out in understanding and offering friendship.
- Ask good questions, and listen. Select topics that interest them and engage your new friend in a conversation.
