Golden Rules! There is probably not a better known, or more beloved line from scripture than Luke 6:31 AKA "Do unto others..." Yet, though pretty much everyone agrees it makes good sense to treat others as you yourself would want to be treated, it's just as easy to slip into "yeah, but he deserves it" mode.

Avoid the trap. Rise above the people in your life who treat you poorly and respond with kindness. Go beyond agreeing with the golden rule, to living it.
