Your Little Ones Aren't So Little Anymore!

Let's be clear here about one very important point. Your teenager will screw up. Your teenager should screw up. Your teenager needs to screw up in order to learn, to grow. Your job as a parent is to provide a safe holding environment for this screwing up and learning to take place. You don't have to tell him how, or show him how. He'll have to figure that part out on his own, sooner or later.

No, you just need to be unconditionally loving and available so that he can fully and safely experience the strange, messy, perfectly beautiful journey that is adolescence.
