Instead of searching for that one perfect person, focus on looking to Christ alone for fulfillment as you search for “The One.” The happiness that you seek from a relationship can only be found through God Himself anyway. Think about it: when you do find that heart-awakening love with another person, isn’t that a gift from God? Isn’t it the Lord’s will that you were able to find each other? As a Christian, you have to agree that the happiness found in a relationship is a happiness that actually comes through Christ Himself.
