How Do I Hold Out for God's Best?

“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.” This verse from Proverbs 4:23 shares why it’s so important to protect your heart. And that includes protecting yourself from settling. If you are with an inappropriate partner or have given up altogether, you are not being honest with yourself, and certainly not with God. Reach out through prayer, scripture and service to seek guidance. God does not want you to stay home and wait for His best partner for you! You must also do your part! Stay after church services to talk with fellow Christians, volunteer at a non-profit or join a Christian-specific online dating site such as Christian Mingle.
