If you’re looking for a more meaningful romantic relationship, then you need to be sure you’re not still lamenting over a past love. Sometimes we use a new relationship in order to ignore the pain of a breakup or broken heart. Instead of jumping from one relationship to another, try giving your heart ample time to first feel the pain and then heal on its own. Remember, the more intense a relationship, the more time you need to heal. Once you’ve taken the proper time to give your heart what it needs, you will be free to open yourself fully to someone new.
