I know Caidin loves me, he tells me every day, sometimes 20 times a day. But when he gets to school he is eager to connect with his friends and will oftentimes give me a mindless hug and then rush off. This is something to feel good about. He’s got his own life and his excited to meet it. On a complete aside, don’t use spit to wipe the toothpaste or jam off your child’s face. No one likes that, especially in front of a group of friends.
