Every winter season comes with a bevy of messages - "Happy Holidays!" "Merry Christmas!" "Happy Hanukkah!" "Keep Christ in Christmas!" ...the list goes on and on, but (most of!) the messages are simple: they are all about wishing joy upon others.
So why all the bustle? Why do some insist that one greeting is superior to others? Why choose one greeting over another? We asked a diverse group of Beliefnet bloggers from different religions and backgrounds their opinion on the issue, and they were glad to offer them!
So enjoy their responses, and please, have a happy holiday, merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy Kwanzaa, happy Bodhi day, and more!
