Lord, as we enter into combat we ask for your continuous protection, and we thank you for not letting our feet slip into harm's way. Thank You for watching over us now and always, and thank You for being our shade so the sun does not harm us by day nor the moon by night.
Thank You for watching over our lives and for watching over our comings and goings now and forevermore. Father, just as You were with Joshua and Moses during the days of old, be with us now so no one can stand before us.
Father, we won't fear because You are with us. We won't be dismayed because You are God. Father, I thank You that You will strengthen us, help us, and uphold us with Your great, might, and righteous right hand from which no one can snatch us out.
Father, I thank You for Your protection from the evil one. If You weren't on our side when our enemies attacked and their anger flared up against us, then our enemies might well swallow us up alive. But, dear Father, we praise You for not letting hurt, harm or danger fall on us. You are the very maker of Heaven and earth, yet so gracious to help us.
Thank You for being our shelter in high places – our refuge and our fortress. Father, I completely trust You. You will save us from our enemy and protect us from the deadly pestilence You are our shield. We won't fear combat because You are with us. A thousand may fall to our right and ten thousand to our left, but no harm will befall us because You are God – our very protection.
In Jesus' name. Amen.
