Being alone is hard. Being alone on the holidays and watching the people around you happily enjoying family and friends, while you have no one, is almost unbearable. It’s like shoveling salt on a gapping wound. But with God, you are never, truly, completely alone. His Word and His promises are the bandages that can hold you together during what can often be the loneliest of times.
