The apostle Paul reassures us in Romans 8 that “neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (8:38-39). That’s an extraordinary love! Because He loves us so much, God chose to set up prayer as a means for us to commune with Him. His love is already flowing toward us; we simply have to complete the circuit by praying for His wisdom, blessings and protection. Prayer is His gift to us.
