I feel very blessed to raise my children in a society that values childhood and all that encompasses the early years. And one of the best things about parenting today is our easy access to information. We can be sure that we are making the best choices for our families in most situations because we are informed - or at least we have the opportunity to be informed. As with every plus there is a downside - sometimes it's TOO much information. As parents we sometimes feel overwhelmed and worried about the impact of our decisions we make. I know I'm not alone in this reality. But one thing I've learned is that the outside factors don't necessarily matter as much as the inside factors. I call the parenting style of many today conscious parenting. Conscious parenting is all about raising compassionate, kind, generous and loving human beings.
