Evaluate cell phone plans and insurance policies. Get rid of any unnecessary supplemental add-ons that you have. Take a look at your cable package and determine whether or not you really use all of the features and channels that you pay for. If you don't, call the company and cancel those unneeded items. On the other hand, if you feel like you're paying too much for auto insurance, newspaper deliveries, cable and or other services call the company and tell them. Odds are if there is a competitive company in the area or you've been a long time customer, they'll give you a discounted price or they can recommend ways for you to save.
