February is Black History Appreciation Month. While we should recognize African Americans and their accomplishments each month, we should take time to appreciate those individuals and the miraculous contributions that they have made to the world. Accomplishments are not distinguished by race or gender however there was a time when African Americans had to fight for their rights and voice. We will never forget their bravery and achievements.
