“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13).
There are many enemies that creep into a relationship and poison it, including negativity, little white lies and apathy. If you notice any of these things in your relationship, bring them into the light by admitting your wrongdoings or asking your partner about their misdeeds.
Next, find forgiveness in your heart for both your mate and yourself. The only way you can grow stronger in your love for each other is to find forgiveness when it is needed. Holding on to anger, mistrust and resentments will only cause your hurt you and your loved one.
