Celebrate Your Accomplishments. Take a moment! When you reach a milestone, reward yourself. Especially for those of us with health issues, it’s important to stop and look around, soak in what we’ve accomplished along the path to our goals. When you complete a challenge, reward yourself with your favorite treat, a new book, or a dinner out with friends. Or, one of my personal favorites: open a bottle of wine, have a celebratory glass, and write your accomplishment on the cork. Get a large glass bowl or vase, and place the cork inside. Soon you’ll see your successes piling up and you can measure how far you’ve come!
