Take the Next Right Step

Are you going through a big life transition? Perhaps you’ve lost a job, gotten divorced or you’re suddenly an empty nester. It’s not at all unusual to feel a bit directionless and just plain lost! Misguided loved ones may encourage you to “get over it,” “let it go” or “buck up” and proceed with your life.

2) Attend the prayer group that Suzanne has been telling me about.

3) Look into volunteering at the local animal shelter.

You get the idea! These don’t have to be big things that will almost always overwhelm and discourage you. At the end of the week you’ll have seven things you’ve done to make yourself feel better! At the end of the month, you’ll have at least thirty. Each day you are making a powerful statement to yourself and the Universe. I’m willing to join forces with You to begin to heal, enjoy my life and re-join the human race.

Again, you may want to choose all of the check-boxed items from the list above. Trust me on this…if you simply choose one, all the rest of the things you desire will begin to fall into place. You are checking in with your inner compass each day and relying on its wisdom to point you in the direction of…more joy, better work, abundance, love and health. It’s a reliable and trustworthy guide. It’s been with you since you were born. It’s there to help you live the life you were meant to live.

Commit to Action

I believe that taking action is a big key to success for most people. Interestingly, it’s also a way to build your intuitive “muscles.” I’ll explain. Have you ever felt an inner nudge from your intuition to try something new and then completely negated the idea with your next thought? Usually it’s something like, “That will never work.” Or, “I don’t want to take the risk.” You’ve basically invalidated your inner wisdom. Your intuition will try again and again and again to call out it’s message to you and get your attention. Each time you don’t pay attention the intuitive “muscle” shrinks a little and begins to atrophy.

Fortunately, it’s fairly easy to rebuild a muscle. Intuition is very forgiving! But it does take a commitment to pay attention and to take action on the wisdom you receive. I want to assure you that it is possible to change. It takes 1) The ability to LISTEN, 2) The desire to CHANGE and, 3) the ability to take ACTION. It’s an unbeatable combination.
