During the month of October, Beliefnet will be highlighting survivors who have inspired others to overcome their circumstances and achieve their dreams. From a famous Nobel Prize winning mathematician who spent years battling Schizophrenia, to a breast cancer survivor inspiring other cancer patients to overcome and succeed in the face of the debilitating disease, to an actress whose diagnosis with Type II Diabetes inspired her to travel the country helping others manage the disease; these remarkable individuals and their stories are in inspiration to individuals around the globe.
