Leprosy is back! Are you in danger?

Leprosy – is it the most ancient disease known to man? If so, why haven’t we cured it yet? Leprosy has been dreaded for centuries. Victims were believed to be highly contagious, cast out of society, forced to roam the countryside calling “Unclean! Unclean!” to anyone who came near. In 2012, more than 166,000 new cases of leprosy were reported in southeastern Asia, 135,000 of them in India.
