This pilgrimage is particularly noteworthy because of its location. Allahabad is considered to be a special place for two reasons. It is believed that after Brahma created the world he offered his first sacrifice there. It also holds the “Triveni Sangam,” which is the convergence of the three sacred rivers of India.
