“Where the Bible warns, then so must I do likewise,” warns Billy James Hargis II in Christian Crusade Newspaper. “It is as if I am in a theatre, where a great many people are gathered, and I know that there is billowing smoke within the building. Is the loving thing for me to remain silent and sit down and watch the show? Would it be caring for me to exit the building altogether, not saying a word, while leaving all others to an uncertain fate? Or do I ruin everyone’s enjoyment of the show by shouting that we must exit the building, causing discomfort, people’s irritation and risking the potential embarrassment of being wrong? I ask you now, which is the loving, caring and considerate thing to do?”
