From God’s perspective, He expects His children to respond in a manner foreign and seemingly ridiculous to the world’s thinking. “We can rejoice when we run into trials and problems, for we know they help us develop endurance. And, endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. This hope will not lead to disappointment for we know God loves us.” (Romans 5:3-5)
