Unfortunately many people are not privledged to have a place to call their "own" home, therefore these people are forced to find refuge in homeless shelters. Many of these people have regular jobs but are unable to afford the cost of living or qualify for government housing assistance. Take the time to volunteer at a homeless shelter and meet the people that run and live in these establishments. 

Jesus believed that we should all live to make the world a better place and help others that are in need. Not only could you help another individual but you will also have the opportunity to humble yourself and the reality of life.
