A new and one-of-a-kind Bible is available that retells the Old and New Testament stories in Japanese comic book (manga) format, the first English manga adapation of the Christian Bible.
Two brothers, Siku and Akin, combined their love for the Gospel and for Japanese animation (anime) to collaborate on "The Manga Bible." While Siku illustrated and modernized Bible characters such as Eve, Moses, and Jesus, Akin wrote and modernized the dialogue spoken by the characters. "The Manga Bible" transforms what you know about the Bible into something clever, edgy, and unique.
Here, we offer a glimpse at the beginning pages of "The Manga Bible." You will recognize the familiar story of creation, Adam and Eve eating from the Tree of Knowledge, and Cain killing Abel. We hope you will enjoy this inventive take on the Bible and read more of it on your own.
