Walk Through a Bit of History
Join Beliefnet and Director of The Garden Tomb Richard Meryon on the exploration of The Garden Tomb, the place that Protestants believe to be the place that Jesus died, was placed in the tomb, and resurrected.
Richard Meryon: "For the tourists coming in we are the only Protestant place they go to generally speaking. We are the only site in Israel that I know of that's completely staffed by believing Christians. Some are Israelis. Some are Palestinians. There are Germans, Dutch, Norwegians, Brits, Ukrainians...One thing they have in common is that they are all believers that Jesus is the Messiah. Most of our guides are volunteers."
