NED may be the only artist on this list that you haven’t heard of, but will be glad you did. The group is made up of cancer surgeons from all over America who work to treat gynecologic cancer. Gynecologic cancer hasn’t received the media attention of breast cancer because it affects less women than breast cancer, but it has a much higher mortality rate. NED hopes to be a spark plug for funding in researching the disease, and their heartfelt blend of classic rock, funk, and pop makes the music worth supporting as well.
