A man, a dream, and a few cameras. That is all it took to make The Room. Well, that and 6 million dubiously raised
dollars. Let me be up front – The Room is not a good film, in fact it is probably the worst one you could ever
see. Tommy Wiseau’s masterpiece is
inspiring only because it exists at all.
By all accounts the cast is utterly devoid of talent
while the writing barely cracks a middle school level. The direction will make you want to laugh and
cry, but not in the way that was intended.
However, here I am writing about it, and here you are reading about it.
If that’s not inspiring I don’t know what is.
