Being a parent is a tough job.  There are a lot of dangers in the world, and a lot of negative things that your child can learn.  It’s hard to know the proper amount of freedom to grant, but Finding Nemo shows that no matter what it’s important to figure that out.  Many kids movies have great messages for the parents, but few are as directed as this one.  The adventurous plot and humorous characters are perfect for children, but the overall message of the film will likely fly right over their heads.  The message to them is that they can truly do anything, and the message to their parents is that it’s important to help them try.
