Everybody loves an underdog story, especially when that underdog seems too broken to win. Seabiscuit is that inspiring story. Based off of the novel and actual events, Seabiscuit is a race horse who was too small and too unbridled to win. This long-shot reflected the imperfections of the three men surrounding him -- all disadvantaged by the Great Depression. For a horse like Seabiscuit to win at anything was a miracle, but that's just what needed to happen to prove one of the film's most inspiring quotes: "You don't throw a whole life away just 'cause he's banged up a little."
